Our onboarding is very efficient and involves 2 major steps. First, a system set up or conversion as necessary and second, transferring your SARS efiling profiles to our Key Accounts tax practitioner profile. After that, we are set up and we can start processing.

If you have never had an accounting system, the process is very straightforward, we set up a Xero license for you (included in our quoted price) and start from there. If you already have Xero, the license simply transfers to us to manage and if you have another accounting system in place we arrange a system conversion, which involves taking a backup of the current system and converting that history into Xero so that we are not starting from scratch. The conversion process takes 1-2 weeks and converts up to 2 years of history at no extra charge. You also have the option to keep more than 2 years of history for a nominal fee by prior arrangement.

Transferring your SARS efiling profiles is also simple. You’ll give us your tax numbers, we’ll initiate the transfer and your SARS public officer will approve the request. If you do not have a public officer appointed, we will appoint one for you before making the transfer. 

Xero is our preferred accounting software because it has the broadest functionality and, in our experience, provides the most value to business owners. Our team is well versed in the software and are able to help all business owners with customised reports, etc. as needed. For this reason, we encourage all our clients to move to Xero, but should there be a reason why you would rather not move please let us know and we should still be able to accommodate your needs.

Yes it does, our service includes all CIPC related compliance that is necessary for every company to comply with. Additional CIPC services such as year end changes, Director changes, etc. can also be performed by us but these cost an additional marginal fee.

No, our standard service covers the areas of finance that deal with compliance and reporting; submissions, management accounts, taxes, etc. and this does include some high level analysis but all items that are considered part of operational finance such as cash flow management,
payments, following up with debtors, etc. do not form part of this for the major reason that we do not know your business or your customers as well as you do.
